"A wonderful location for a last minute short break. The Barn was exactly what we needed and as described. We could happily sit and look at the Views and sunset from the garden / patio, whilst relaxing. Walking possible direct from the Barn and easy access to loads of places to visit across the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. Great communication from host. "Eight members of our family spent a lovely long weekend at Riversdale Lodge to celebrate two 80th birthdays and everyone had a fantastic time. The house is lovely and in a gorgeous setting - we felt totally relaxed immediately on arrival. The beds are very comfortable, the communal spaces inside and out were spacious and everything needed was provided. "The house and cottage was perfect for our family reunion of 12 and 2 little ones. Bathroom and shower/tub in every room! Kitchen and Dining area and seating for 18 inside and out was perfect. Amazing kitchen with plenty of dishes and all possibly needed to cook large meals. Three sitting rooms with fireplace and wood provided Games, books, puzzles, game room, outside badminton and soccer. Best VRBO! Views amazing!"

"This property is wonderful. The property is brand new/recently renovated and this is apparent as soon as you step inside the front door. All fixtures and fittings are of good quality and the charm of the original building such as exposed beams have all been kept. It is in a quiet location with stunning walks and trails on your doorstep but the village is only a 10 minute walk. We would definitely recommend this property and would happily come back ourselves."

"We enjoyed our stay here in a very confirtable cottage tucked away in the countryside. The beds were particularly comfortable. The hosts communicated well and we really enjoyed tge free range eggs they left us from their chickens. Plenty of birds and very dark so great for stars if it is clear."
