"Don’t let the location fool you. It looks to be outside of Skaneateles and technically that is true, but it is 5 minute drive next to the lake with beautiful homes, etc. The building itself is beautiful, old but with a lovely aesthetic. It feels homey, but one that an interior designer designed. From board games to an ice machine at the ready while in front of the fire…it was delightful. "What a marvelous snowy getaway at 2W Lake B&B! Host Clark was attentive, responsive, and provided a wealth of knowledge about the area. After scrambling through VRBO, we found this house and were able to book it last minute. What luck that turned out to be! "EVERYTHING as described and more. Place was so clean you'd of thought we were the first guests. Hosts were very accessible via text during our stay. The construction of this tree house is amazing and detailed. The ability to sit at a fire even during rain was a plus and complete with barn owls calling in the distance at night. Minutes away from a small town with a great breakfast diner, but completely secluded in the woods. We just can't say enough about how cool this place is."

"We stayed here for a girl’s weekend (we’re a puzzles and movies kind of group) and had plenty of space to socialize. Anything you interact with- modern showers, kitchen drawers, etc., has clear labels and the owner was quick to respond to a question about how to use something. The hot tub in winter was a must for us, and we’re considering visiting again in the summer to enjoy the pool. "
