"I’ve stayed at this lodge twice, once in 2020 and now again in 2024. As someone who works for a 4-diamond hotel in downtown Chicago for the past 10 years, I’d like to offer my honest opinion. "People were nice, but …Was dirty and gross feeling. Pealing paint on tile in shower, hair on bathroom floor, carpet gross, saw a cockroach on window sill inside our room in the morning!! Ewwww… Somehow I thought Wyndham meant clean and better quality…BIG mistake! "

"The stay was nice, the indoor pool was actually the best part because it was warm enough for the kids to swim unlike a lot of the other indoor pools at other hotels. The beds were a little hard but all in all we would stay here again."
