"I wanted something different than the ordinary. I was struck by the photos and descriptions. Even though a wide angle lens was used, but I knew that. The house was nicely furnished with virtually all one could need in the kitchen. My sister and I are both over 70 and the stairs were a bit challenging as they were steep. The WC is on the bottom floor only so keep that in mind if you have any mobility issues. But that is very clear in the information. Our hostess was very kind and available!!...

"We had a lovely stay at Montbrun des Corbieres. The village is very quaint, no shops or boulangerie, but a very good bread vending machine once you got the hang of it.! Great location for touring the Languedoc-Roussillon region, within 1.15 hours drive of Perpignan, Montpelier, Toulouse etc. 25 mins from Carcassonne and Narbonne. Canal du Midi 15 mins.
