As it was Xmas I presume the staff were on leave and so the rubbish etc weren’t emptied and there wasn’t anything like bins available so we could dispose of them I guess it’s why our room was invaded with ants luckily it was only in the kitchen walls and floor and kitchen top while there was tea coffee available no milk offered and supply was only for one day else beds were comfy slept soundly and clean facilities

A great little gem. We were going to a local party, so stayed. The kind staff opened up the bar and restaurant earlier on Sunday morning so we could watch a rugby test… yummy breakfast too! Amazing service and such friendly people. Thanks !

13 year old plus dad flying from wgn for so s bday gift being auto fest. Noticed confirmation said a double, and not the two singles we thought. Despite contacting motel before arriving andmore than once, no response and had to squash up in double and we think that's a bit crap

I had the really small room. I knew it was going to be tiny when I booked it. All good. The bathroom was a good size. The thing i appreciated was attention to detail, I needed for nothing. They even had actual coffee grounds and a press, which I'm realizing in NZ is the norm. All other hotels I've stayed at here only have instant coffee. They had fresh milk and cookies ( bag). The room was super clean. I ordered the lamb dinner at the pub, super good!!

Time Saver
Due for surgery at 7am in Pukekohe,this made the trip better as only 15min ride to hospital. Bar/Restaurant next door. Excellent shower and comfort in ground floor room.

What a hidden gem!! Highly recommend this place. Somewhere I haven’t heard of and that I’ve come apon before I found this whilst I was looking to stay close to Hampton downs. The room was lovely and warm when we arrived, comfortable bed, luxury underfloor heating and sky tv and a coffee pod machine as a bonus! The icing on the cake was the affordable nights stay! Happy couple 😍

Our room had the air conditioning unit outside the window which kept coming on and off all night. I had asked if the room was quiet!! I was unable to open the window as the room felt airless due to the noise from the unit which was even louder when the window was open.
