"Very clean and comfortable house. Our family did not feel like we were staying in a rental property. The lake is located in a picturesque valley. The location is convenient to dining and shopping in Skaneateles. The house is located at the southern portion of Lake Otisco. This part of the lake has a mud bottom which does make the water very murky. The host is very accommodating. "

"A lovely spot by Colgate and next to a reservoir! Saw loons and other wildlife. Had some issues with the cleanliness of the place upon arrival and had to go get some supplies that were not available. With some care and attention, this will be a lovely weekend getaway."

Nick was always available for any questions and even came over when we unplugged the wifi modem without realizing. The house is adorable and very clean, and minutes from downtown and SU. "Although the owners were very responsive, we were disappointed in this property. The kitchen was very poorly stocked, there were not enough towels and the bed linens and pillows were old and flimsy. We contacted the owner and he arrived within 20 min with new towels and a few pillows. The bathrooms and the refrigerator could have been cleaner. "

"A little bit hard to find the entrance that's behind the barn. The whole place was clean. Had a setup that was sufficient to cook or stay for a long time. I was only there for 2 days but the kitchen had an oven and other appliances. Brightly lit during the day from the windows and just a nice little stay."

"Our family of five had another place booked for a ski trip to Greek Peak, and that reservation fell through the day before our trip, due to a problem at the house. After scrambling through VRBO, we found this house and were able to book it last minute. What luck that turned out to be! The house is warm and inviting, really well furnished and stocked, couches and beds both super comfy, and the fireplace completes the vibe. The back porch overlooks Song Lake, which is as beautiful as its name....
