Very Peaceful setting. A homey comfort feel. I would definitely recommend this property.
Fantastic location 15 minutes from Ithaca. Beautiful, peaceful setting, layout is perfect for families and small groups. Don't miss quaint Trumansburg! Excellent recommendations from the hosts and Shirley and Rich made us feel very welcome.
This the perfect place to unwind and still be within 20-25 minutes of Ithaca. Immaculate house and couldn’t be in a better natural setting. Plus the proprietor is lovely and responsive.
Loved our view and the accommodations were great, gorgeous kitchen, grandson loved the big master bed and the organ. The area is wonderful. Spent time sitting by the creek and relaxing . Definitely on our return list . Thank you
The location was great, within 10 minutes of great hikes, good food, and so many wine or cider locations to choose from. The house was very clean, quite, and was the perfect weekend get away!
The owners were friendly and great to work with. Also loved all the pottery Shirley made that was in the house.
Great location; close to Taughannock State Park, vineyards. Nice yard, view; took advantage of fire ring. Clean, however some items in kitchen needed re-cleaned. Overall, great place to stay!
Our second stay at the Bee House was just as lovely as the first. Our two kids absolutely loved running around the yard, spotting deer, and catching fireflies. The layout is great, really maximizing the space, and the hosts are super responsive. We had a great week away!
The Bee House is absolutely beautiful, immaculate, surrounded by nature, filled with art and everything you need for a peaceful, relaxing (or energizing) stay! The surroundings and wildlife add to the serenity. Shirley and Rich are amazing hosts!
This is a very pleasant house overlooking a babbling creek. Modern interior, conveniences, etc., and clean. Easy access to Ithaca (where our son was visiting Cornell for a couple of days) and surrounding areas. Communicative and accommodating host whose art work (pottery in particular) graces this home. Looking forward to a return visit!

My husband and I stayed at the Bee House last week during our trip to the Finger Lakes. This is the 3rd year in a row we've come to the area for a summer vacation, and the Bee House is by far the best place we've stayed! The house is beautifully laid out and extremely well cared for. We were very happy with our stay and hope to be back next year!
Very well maintained and thoughtfully appointed property. Special touches, in keeping with the Honey Bee, Bee House theme was the beautiful pottery made by Shirley. Very warm, homey and inviting. We had everything we needed!
What a wonderful house we happened upon. Everything we needed was provided and more, and the handmade touches made it feel all the more special. We especially loved the views from the large windows and sitting on the balconies and riverside chairs as the weather allowed. Everything was comfortable and bright. Add in easy communication with our hosts, and this house is hard to beat. If we’re ever in the area again, we’d love to stay right here. Thank you!

Clean, comfortable, modern, quiet; awesome!
This property is beautiful! Extremely clean and modern with a spacious layout and great view. Our stay was comfortable and relaxing and with the many windows overlooking a creek with trees, the nighttime noises of nature were soothing. Plenty of sleeping space and bathrooms and the kitchen area was amazing (even better than the pictures)! I would definitely book this property again and recommend it.
The owner was very kind and helpful. The house and yard were perfect for our family. But if you rent this property, do it for the view! Gorgeous at every time of day. Recharged our spirits. An absolute treat!

Beautiful house
We had a lovely couple of nights in this well appointed house. Everything had been thought of: I'm sure it was better organised than my own home!
Five stars if there were air-conditioning as it was very hot when we were there.
We found lots to do nearby and would have enjoyed a longer stay.
Reuniting with old friends at the Bee House was the perfect setting for relaxation and conversation. The house is comfortable, and the setting is beautiful. Everything we needed to make meals and sleep well was provided. Shirley is a great host and even showed us her pottery studio. We enjoyed her artistry and all of the thoughtfully chosen artwork on display in the house.
