"The hotel and general area was very peaceful. The hospitality was great, and the staff made us feel right at home. The view from the hotel is amazing, being close to both the mountains and the lake. It was also very convenient to drive to beautiful cities, such as Bern, Thun, the local Brienz, and Grindelwald is also not too far. Certainly has a more cottage vibe, but it adds to the experience. Would 10/10 recommend for an authentic Swiss experience."

"Check-in time limited only between 17.00-19.00. Very nice renovated, but bath and toilette to share. Room was very little and hot, without air conditioning. Breakfast was nice with an outside place. "

"What a horrible experience! It took us almost an hour to drive there, only to find out that the owl "made a mistake" and did not have a room for us. It's been over a week now and we are still trying to get back the money that we paid the owner. ($188 USD). We asked around at the neighborhood and found out that he does all of the time. What I would like to know is why Expedia even lists this property!!!"

"Had a wonderful stay in Sachseln with family, contracted for the entire B&B. B&B is run is true Swiss fashion, timely, efficiently, clean. Plenty of bedrooms, shared baths, recently built gazebo outside which was great for outdoors wine/cheese. Verena operates a beautiful villa directly on lake Sarnen, good restaurants and local stores nearby... excellent for access to Swiss rail as the station is directly behind the villa. Would look forward to staying at Verena's Boutique Villa again..."

"This was by far the best place we stayed at. The apartment was very big with spacious bedrooms and kitchen. The host was very friendly and cater for all our needs. The dinner was one of the best we had in Switzerland. The location with mountain view was very beautiful and peaceful. We will definitely stay here again if we visit and would recommend this place to all. "
