"The location of this property was spectacular. We were able to walk the beach just steps from the door. The house was very comfortable. There was an adequate supply of bottled water to overcome the piped water which smelled off. We loved our stay. "

The house is pretty remote, which can be a good thing, but every place we wanted to visit is at least an hour drive away. We did a lot of driving and spent a lot on gas. We wish we had stayed in Baddeck."

"A very nice property. Four couples stayed there a night while on a motorcycle tour of Nova Scotia. One of the bedrooms didn’t have access to a bathroom so it was more of a 3br house rather than 4br. Spacious with many amenities but there were numerous sticky notes around informing us of things that didn’t work or shouldn’t be used. The access road was gravel and not motorcycle friendly."

"We needed a place to freeze some packs for medication and these hosts went above and beyond to help. They also provided us with fresh eggs and blueberries from their homestead. Place was clean and she had the radio playing when we came in. So sweet! The water was warm and clear for us and was so nice to wade in. "This property was exactly what we were looking for. Stunning views and far away from the hustle of city life. The house was quaint and enough room for seven of us. There is no central air conditioning, just a heat pump on the first floor but opening the windows to the ocean air as Todd suggested was more than sufficient to cool the rooms down in the night. Todd, the owner, was great and always answered our questions quickly. I would recommend staying here if you want to get away from the...
