"This beautiful home was a real private retreat for our family holiday. To be welcomed by a huge Christmas tree with all the decorations in the grandroom showcases the huge ceiling and delighted our kids. The home is well built and spacious. It's beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Lots of places to lounge, play games, and lots of quiet corners to read or work. It's very picturesque as it overlooks the golf course. The multi level home makes each room feel distinct yet open to the next....

"House was beautiful, but was a jungle balmy 81 degrees, took 4 hours to cool. Shower curtains dirty and moldy so i washed them myself. I found a frying pan full of grease in cabinet, that was over looked . Floors underneath the beds needed a good cleaning as well , saw when i tried to get a toy that had rolled underneath. I am a animal lover, but having 3 stay cats at the property begging for food was sad, one was pregnant and had her babies while we were there . If the house had a little more...

"Long weekend visiting extended family in NC. We thoroughly enjoyed this property especially the ample outdoor space. Morning coffee on the porch as the sun rose, paddling around the lake during the day, relaxing evenings... a great stay. The house is older but was meticulously clean. Would stay again."

"beautiful views all around, it was a perfect getaway to unwind clear your head. The kids loved it and even though we were there in the winter and were unable to enjoy the lake to the fullest the view was outstanding. The house was perfectly laid out for a family function with plenty of room. We truly enjoyed ourselves and it was perfect"

"The house was clean and lovely. The beds were very comfortable. It was very quiet and peaceful. I loved being able to see the lake all day from the front and the kids enjoyed the game room .We didn’t want to leave but hopefully we can come back in the summer.It’s just beautiful."

"We've stayed at a lot of nice VRBO's and this was the cleanest one ever! The winter-lake view was really relaxing and the home is a great layout for a family or multiple guests. Two full bathrooms were spacious and fully-stocked. A bonus is the downstairs finished basement featuring activities and several games. It was a blessing on a rainy day. The cottage is even cuter and more charming than the pictures and the beds very comfortable! The host was quick with communication and check in and out...

"Our family absolutely loved staying at this home. With adult children who live all over the country and their small children, it becomes harder for us all to get together. This wonderful home provided a beautiful place to stay with plenty of room and lots of wonderful amenities. We will absolutely not hesitate to stay here again. Should the opportunity present itself. You will love this one. Lots of space in the lake access view is stunning."

"Our family of six adults and four grandchildren enjoyed a relaxing getaway at this beautifully located cabin along the north end of Badin Lake. This spacious home had so much room for the family to spread out. Allowing the adults to relax and the grandkids to have fun on all three floors.
