"Fernado & Amelia were very welcoming and had generously left a welcome gift pack. We were given lots of information about services & things to do in the area. The outdoor living space with bbq & outdoor sink and plenty of charcoal together with the pool greatly enhanced our stay in early July. The only downside was there was no airconditioning (our error not noticing when booking) as in the 1st week temperatures were up to 40 degrees but fans were provided. A lovely peaceful setting."

"This is a nice calm place to escape to reconnect with nature and a slower pace of living. There are lots of nature trails to hike. Aveiro and Porto are an hour away, but you have some very unique tourism opportunities about 10 minutes away in S. João da Madeira with their industry tourism and hat and shoe museum!"

"What a very cool place! If you like interesting lodging and nature, you will love this place. It is a bit off the beaten path however, so you'll require a car. Definitely take them up on the offer to stay for dinner. Dona Natalia's home-cooked meals are absolutely delicious (if my Cajun grandmother was Portuguese, she would be Natalia), and a great deal at 15 euros per person, with wine. "

Manuela y familia, muy correctos y atentos. A nivel de instrumental de cocina, correcto, aunque mejorable. La piscina no es tal: 4x3 y prof 1 mtr, para refrescarse y poco más. En resumen, muy bien. "When I picked this location I didn't know anything about the area and proximity to the sites we wanted to see. Having stayed here, I LOVED this house. However, I wasn't as close to the areas I wanted to be with this pick. The house is great. The property is just special. The owners are so nice. Having a dryer was a real treat.
