"Borgo San Pietro is in the charming Tuscan hilltop town of Agnone. We loved being in the historic district and were able to walk everywhere. The hostess, Valentina, was so helpful and always available--she even scheduled a tour in English for us at the Marinelli Bell Foundry. The views from our room were amazing! Be prepared to walk uphill on old Roman streets, some cobblestone. The local residents were all friendly and helpful, especially the Town Hall staff helping us with geneology...

"Received code to access the building from owner/manager via what's app. On arrival, entered main door and no lighting whatsoever. The entrance had a horrible smell and musty sense. Needed to turn on lights ourselves. Tried to locate our unit when the lights went out. We got the heck out of there. Not impressed at all. Expedia will be refunding us our stay. We booked somewhere else at a much cleaner hotel"

"This property was difficult to find, as it is tucked into the corner of a piazza. The inside architecture is interesting - do not choose the "In Aereo" room if you are taller than 5'4", as you risk hitting your head on steel support beams in the ceiling. "We stayed Masseria Acqusalsa for 1 night while making our way from Rome to Termoli. It was absolutely amazing. This farmhouse B&B was exactly what we needed after a long flight from the US to rest and enjoy the Italian countryside. The hosts were friendly and beyond accommodating. They made a lovely dinner recommendation to a wonderful restaurant in Agnone and served a fantastic spread for breakfast in the morning. I would highly recommend staying there. "

"Very nice, modern and clean. In all honesty better than the supposed 4 star hotel we stayed at the week before. The room is on the 4th floor without elevator. So be prepared. But we loved it.
