"We booked here for 2 nights, but only stayed an hour, as we were upset about the poor animals living on the 'farm'. Nothing wrong with the rooms or the swimming pool, but the poor horses & donkeys are kept in awful living conditions. One horse had a huge wound on his leg, which was oozing with puss & covered in flies. The horses are very thin, with prominent ribs. The donkeys have no fresh water, only a green slimy area. "Very little English but charming with nice view. We arrived late and a simple dinner was fixed for us. The walk to Bergamo Alta was about an hour and a half from Marco. It was a lovely walk but bring water since there are no commercial establishments on the route. Food was good and"

"Positives were that is was very quaint, beautiful view from balcony, excellent bed, and excellent food. Negatives were bees in the room and narrow roads to get up the mountain. It is located in the mountains about 15 minutes from Lake Como."

"This place is amazing! The perfect place to sleep in the mountains. Trust your good GPS and you’ll find it, really worth it. We were welcomed and guided by Agostino. It was a pleasure to eat a great breakfast with all local, farm-grown products! Such a nice experience for my kids that enjoyed this place w/o TV. Fam. rooms are comfortable, cute, clean on top of that you have WiFi. I definitely recommend this place so much!"
