"Beautiful boutique hotel in quiet Palermo district in Buenos Aires. The rooms are quite large, clean and well equipped. The bed was so comfy and the room was very quiet for a good nights sleep. We enjoyed the garden terrace and the roof top pool to relax after a busy day of touring. The staff were very helpful in providing advise and any request was met with a smile. A must stay when visiting Buenos Aires. "

"With the exception of Jessica, the front desk personnel are kind of cold toward guests. Thee rest of the staff are very warm and welcoming. Thank to Jorge, Camila, and especially Marisol, for making our stay a great one. The room is big and comfortable, with modern facilities, yet keeping the charm of an old building. There's a lot construction and remodeling in nearby structures (front Building, sidewalks, etc.), but the location of the hotel makes up for those inconveniences. There aren't too much dining options nearby, but you will be about 5 minutes in taxi to Puerto Madero! Try the rooftop bistro at the hotel. Great for a light snack at sunset (Ask for opening days). Overall, Tango de Mayo Hotel was a great pick. Great place to move around the city, in a very safe area. Recommended!!"

"Beautiful hotel, been here since 1910, original features. Staff cannot do enough for us. Other reviews said area is not great but we think it's fine, a stones throw from the theatre district so lots to do and lots of dining options "

"Great location, staff was good, cleaning crew did a great job. Having a restaurant down stairs was very convenient. The only thing they claim they have laundry in there amenities but it is only ironing for a fee a little misleading, they did not have machines so you can do your laundry, but otherwise everything was great. Would stay again."

"I'll start with the only MAJOR BAD: the outdoor pool - very poorly designed. The deck is boiling hot on your feet. Nor can you rest your arms on the deck while sitting in the pool - you'll burn your arms! The lounge chairs only get sun until 9:30am and then only shade. It's a restful space but unusable. What a shame! THE GOOD: We stayed for a week in Rm 503. Very spacious. Separate shower room and toilet/bathtub room which means two people could easily get ready in the morning. The balcony overlooked a beautiful plaza and was comfortable and private. Comfortable furniture and bed with sofa and chair too. Plenty of closets and drawers. The desk was large with many outlets. The WiFi did not work but when we called the desk, their IT person brought us our own personal router within an hour. Breakfast buffet was good although they like their eggs to run. We had to ask for bien hecho (well-done) every time. Dinner had some wonderful tastes although we only ate there 3 nights out of 8. We felt welcome and cared for. Thank you Palladio."
