"The property is great. The staff is awful. Very standoffish. They make you feel that you are an inconvenience. I never received a email in regards to their dining policy. We arrived around 7pm and had to drive back into town to find food. Overall it was a huge disappointment. With a friendly staff it would be amazing. "

"We had a wonderful 9-day summer stay in August, having come over from England (sorry this review is in English!). The house was fantastic and the area very beautiful. My eight-year-old twins loved climbing some of the local peaks, going to high-wire parks and local swimming pools. My elderly father was happy sitting on the great verandah, drinking a beer and watching the sun set over the mountains. We loved the little bread van that came each morning, and our kids had lots of fun playing with...

"After a very smooth check-in process, we arrived at this lovely home right in the heart of Hohentauern and were pleased to find it exactly as described. "Wir hatten eine wunderbare Urlaubswoche in der lachenden Eule. Ab dem Moment des Tür aufschließens haben wir uns sofort wohl gefühlt und haben das tolle Haus, die exelente Sauberkeit, die super Ausstattung (sogar mit Weber Gas Grill) sehr genossen. Das absolute Muss und Highlight des Hauses ist der Pool, der jeden Euro wert war. Abends im Pool in den Sternenhimmel zu schauen - es war fantastisch. Wir bedanken uns herzlich für diese unvergessliche Woche und würden sofort wieder buchen."
