"The property is in a great location! Easy to walk to everything downtown. Beds were very comfy and everything was easy to find and use. I do wish there were thicker curtains as there are many windows and it gets bright in the morning. Great stay! The owner also left a bottle of wine and a gift card to a restaurant, which was so nice!"

"Our stay was spectacular! The design features of the home are not only beautiful but practical. The owners really thought of everything you’d possibly need when vacationing and made sure to include it and then some! The location is amazing, just a few short blocks from shopping, restaurants and the beach. We had our 1 year old son with us as well and he had room to move around and plenty to keep him busy! Can’t say enough wonderful things about this property, we will definitely be back!"

"All of us really liked the location, cleanliness, and the layout of this darling flat. We enjoyed sitting outside in the comfortable seating area as well. We would stay again in a heartbeat. 2 very minor complaints that will not decrease my 5 star review. The queen mattress wasn’t very comfortable, and the rug just inside the door has a flipped up corner. It’s definitely a tripping hazard."

"This was a great home base with our dog. We were able to go for runs and walks, and easily drove to our various functions. It is a historic farmhouse, so expect minor oddities in the layout."

"The ONLY bit of an issue was that there is some sort of (what I think may be a backwash cycle with a pump or septic system) noise that comes on next to 2 of the bedrooms. This often happened randomly in the middle of the night and it can be a little loud. If it is indeed a pump, maybe it could be set up and scheduled to come on only during the day. Everything else was very clean, nice, and updated."

"We came to Chicago to celebrate my graduation and wasn’t having any luck with hotels or rentals near the city. This location popped up on my search and it was well within our price range so I immediately booked it. It is almost an hour away from the city, but we did not mind the drive! Plus there are additional surrounding towns that are cute to visit! The host was extremely communicative during our entire stay. We had four adults in our party and lived comfortably!
