"We had a great stay at the Essence Hotel. It is in a quieter part of town but still close to everything. The room we stayed in was clean and modern. Most major attractions in Florence were within easy walking distance. We'd be happy to stay here again next time when we come back to visit Tuscany."

"We stayed in the Double Zebra Room and it was honestly one of the most beautifully designed rooms. Super clean, spacious, and full of personality. Breakfast in bed was a lovely touch - arrived right on time and really good. I also loved that they use Officina Profumo toiletries, such a nice detail. Overall, a really special stay in Florence."

"I was worried about a bedbug issue as I saw a comment after booking but the single room I stayed was clean. However, I would not recommend if you are too sensitive to sound as you can hear the water running through the pipe in the wall all night. The sound did not bother me that much."

"Was a great location, about a 20 minute walk from the train station or a bus stop right in front. Its a huge spiral staircase to get to your floor, which wasn't an issue for us. Didn't hear a thing from inside or outside except for on the last night whoever was above us had their alarm going for an hour straight, but we were getting up shortly anyways. I contacted them per their instructions a week before our arrival with our information and was told we could drop our luggage early. "This is the most under rated property in Florence! request a first floor, Piazza facing apartment and your view is spectacular! Never mind the people watching! Worth every dollar spent. Just know that it is noisy at night until around 1am as it's in a very public piazza but you just need good earplugs or the aircon on to drown that out if it was to bother you. "

"À ce prix là vue sur autoroute!!!!! En plus on a payé un surplus car la chambre était rénovée. Franchement problème de nettoyage douche. Déjà des moisissures aux niveau des joints du carrelage de la douche italienne. À ce prix là j’attendais vraiment mieux. Mettre une bouilloire dans la chambre sans adaptateur de prise italienne c’est une blague ? Par contre personnel très agréable. "

"The stay was amazing. Location is great. Although they miscalculated our per person tax. Wasn’t able to give us back the change. We didn’t have time to go to their office located a few blocks from the apartment we stayed at. Overall great. The kitchen is complete with everything you need to cook basic food. There is a fridge and freezer. Could actually bed 6-7 people. Lots of space and has 2 bathrooms for our apartment. Has a nice balcony too. "

"Great for families, my kids loved it. Bus to centro in front the property. Market in the property with everything you need, everybody from front desk were speaking English. Swimming pool, playground. We definitely will stay there again."
