"This was a last minute choice on a weekend excursion with my mother to Tenby unfortunately we left it to late to find a hotel closer to town but were lucky enough to get a family room at a really good price how ever we were kind of let down when we arrived as the room listed in the photo was a completely different room how ever the staff were very nice and did try and accommodate us by offering a refund to which we declined due to the location of town and its historical look,i would advise...

"It is a very unique property with nice walking trails and gardens. Overall it wasn’t kept up well and needs a face lift and grounds keeper outside. Rooms were nice with comfortable bed and good shower. Unfortunately it is far from everything and the restaurant and bar were not open Monday night so had to drive back into town. Breakfast was good and breakfast room very nice. No air conditioning but the fan in the room was nice. "

However after explaining what happened to the manager and to why we had come to breakfast as the staff member who checked us in said we had it. "Very friendly staff, great room and great breakfast. Very convenient for the ferry, especially as the Rose and Crown are used to travellers arriving late from Ireland (ferry did not get into Fishguard until 1145 hrs)!! Well done Delphi and staff. The Hope and Anchor next door is an added bonus."
