"Very pleasant stay in this B & B in a beautiful country setting - about 10 kilometers from Plazzolo Acredide, an interesting hill town that does not get much tourism. "We are 30 years old couple and stayed one night in La Maddalena. The place has a warm athmosphere but is a bit old dated. One person from a kind staff spoke english during our stay. We ate a good dinner from a short menu. There isn't own pools as mentioned in hotels.com (which is not a surprise however) and bed was very unconfortable in the room with no window. "Carmela couldn't have been a better host - she went above and beyond to provide information and additional amenities to cater for our group (eg. providing advice and a microwave for one of our babies with allergies). The units were spotless and the pool was regularly cleaned (Carmela's husband did this so they were there semi-regularly). There was a technical fault with some of the air-con units but Carmela did everything to rectify it. They also left us local vegetables which were delicious!...
