"Booked a room for two nights. First night, the room was in poor condition and smelled terrible with pet odors. Following morning, the manager apologized and put me in a different room. The room was excellent, clean, smelled fine. Yes Very comfortable bed. Got a good night sleep. I have stayed at this hotel before over the past several years and always had a great experience. I would stay here again!"

"You won’t find a better property in chimney rock. They did a great job with the updates to the grounds and the rooms. The “backyard” is amazing. The only negative to come by is the $50 charge to check in early. $50 for a couple hours? If the room is ready, let the guests in! I know it’s policy and I get it. Lots of hotels try it, just pet peeve of mine when traveling. Again though, just an amazing spot!"

"We chose this place based purely on its location and hoped for the best. It didn’t wow us, but it didn’t disappoint. My biggest issue is that there was no one in the office for check in, our key was in an envelope with our names on it taped to the office door with a page of instructions, and we had to call the number on the instruction sheet to find out about things like the wifi only to be told that it was in “the notebook”.
