"Positive: the guy at the restaurant kindly called me a taxi, room was quite large, grocery store nearby Negative: I was charged almost 2x more than the app said I would be charged in local taxes, no explanation was given in English, Russian or Ukrainian... room had a heater/air conditioner but no remote was provided so I could not use it, one of the blinds was missing from the windows and had no curtains so the light from outside would come in the room when you try to sleep... housekeeper...

"Overall, I’d recommend this hotel. It was very clean and generally well equipped. The bed was particularly comfortable and the bathroom clean and modern. However, there was an issue with the water pressure and temperature around 8am one morning. I don’t know whether the system was overwhelmed by everyone showering at a similar time of the morning or if it was an isolated issue with the room. "I stayed in the Luxury Apartment. Worth the money. The cafe is excellent and they prepare good food right on property. There is a Silpo grocery store close by and all kinds of dining options in walking distance. Use the Kontraktova metro stop it’s easier. Ukrainian Starbucks is Aroma Kava. Grab a latte every time you go to and from the Metro. I’ll be staying at KONTRAKT every time I come to Kyiv. It’s quiet and the nightlife is ten minutes walk away if you really want to bogey."
