"I stayed in the Luxury Apartment. Worth the money. The cafe is excellent and they prepare good food right on property. There is a Silpo grocery store close by and all kinds of dining options in walking distance. Use the Kontraktova metro stop it’s easier. Ukrainian Starbucks is Aroma Kava. Grab a latte every time you go to and from the Metro. I’ll be staying at KONTRAKT every time I come to Kyiv. It’s quiet and the nightlife is ten minutes walk away if you really want to bogey."

"The hotel is a well thought out millennial place with a pool table, vibrant colors, and great shared spaces. The only details I did not like so much is that rooms were a bit small and there were no closets, or space to place luggage. Also, the curtains were a bit small so it was not as comfortable to sleep on the long summer days because sunlight would wake you up at 6am. "I really like the location and vibe, except the loud 1980s music was annoying. The bed was comfortable and the water was hot. The food downstairs at Druzi Cafe was very delicious, but a bit pricey. However, their lattes were lukewarm and served in a soda glass with a straw. Definitely weird… Unfortunately, during my entire 5-night stay there, my room was not cleaned a single time, and my sheets and towel were never replaced. In addition something bit the heck out of me. "Overall, I’d recommend this hotel. It was very clean and generally well equipped. The bed was particularly comfortable and the bathroom clean and modern. However, there was an issue with the water pressure and temperature around 8am one morning. "Positive: the guy at the restaurant kindly called me a taxi, room was quite large, grocery store nearby Negative: I was charged almost 2x more than the app said I would be charged in local taxes, no explanation was given in English, Russian or Ukrainian... room had a heater/air conditioner but no remote was provided so I could not use it, one of the blinds was missing from the windows and had no curtains so the light from outside would come in the room when you try to sleep... housekeeper...
