"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Overlook. Paula and Brian are wonderful hosts and the house had everything we needed during our stay and more. The coffee bar was amazing and we loved the little touches to make us feel at home. I could have sat on the porch looking at the view all day. The area was very quiet and easy to get to. We would definitely stay here again."

"We wanted to get back to western NC after Helene to support the areas who wanted tourists to return. The road and communities heading to the cabin were hit hard by the hurricane, but the route was drivable. Would recommend a truck or SUV. The cabin was adorable and the mountain it was on top of was perfect and secluded. We hope to keep coming back to these areas to help rebuild by volunteering and supporting local businesses. We will definitely stay again!"
