There was only one thing, it was unseasonably warm and even with our windows open, our room was too warm and difficult to sleep. This of course is not the hotels fault. In this area, air conditioning is not the norm. Otherwise, it was exceptional."

"Barrow Lodge was a a great place to stay for our golfing vacation to visit Tralee and Ballybunion golf clubs. Spacious, clean and comfortable room with a nice big bed and goodies in the room like tea, water, coffee, sweets and fruit. Great views and right on the water. The host Clodagh is a wonderful person, a breath of fresh air; she is incredibly kind and generous and very helpful in providing tips on where to eat at night and making reservations. "Nice guesthouse, friendly staff. Its not a modern sleek guesthouse, but you'd probably struggle tonfind that in Killarney anyway. My room actually looked better and more modern than in the photo's. I did struggle with the key lock to get in at night, although im going to put that down to me having a few pints.
