When we arrived the house was in disgusting condition - dead insects, spiders and hairs throughout many bathrooms (see photos). I don't think it had been cleaned in weeks. Having spent nearly $6000 for the weekend, my group and I were appalled (and I was very embarrassed having booked it for the group). Holiday Rental Specialists have been unresponsive to my complaint by both phone and email. AVOID...

"We had few days away in this little slice of Australian bush heaven. It was more than comfortable, the owner spoilt us with fresh eggs and honey and the location was a dreamscape. It's far enough away to have quiet but really only 10minutes from the town. We will be back."

"We had a wonderful stay at Taralga Terraces - Whiting's Store and loved the town. It was cold so we made the most of the combustion fire and the beds were cozy and warm. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathrooms had all the amenities we needed. We ventured out to Wombeyan Caves and also had dinner at The Argyle Inn which was fantastic. Crookwell is also a lovely little town. Lisa was a great host and easy to communicate with. We would love to come back to this centrally located property."
