"Conveniently located as an overnight stop between our home (Melbourne) and destination (Shoal Bay). Outside of property looks a bit tired, but inside of the room was fine and quite spacious. Facilities OK except TV remote stopped working on the morning we left. Plenty of parking for 11 guest cars while we were there with room for about 5 or 6 more. Good location with clubs, hotels, cafes, supermarket and the town park all within easy walking distance. We've stayed before and will do so again."

"Stayed at Abbey for a night on a stopover to Sydney. I wouldn't recommend it more. Easy to get, easy to check in and the place is spotless. Driving around the city I couldn't see any other accommodation that looked better than the Abbey motel"
