"My sister and I stayed at the Bird's Nest in late Sept. 2024. It was fabulous. Very quiet and comfortable. We loved the deck for watching the sunrise/sunset with a glass of wine. Very quiet. The kitchen was so well stocked. The location couldn't have been better for visiting Mesa Verde. Jeff and his wife were wonderful hosts - answered questions quickly and were available for restaurant recommendations :)"

"We really enjoyed our stay here. Itā€™s a great place to relax after a busy day exploring. Check-in was so easy and we were able to check in early. Everything was clean and comfortable. We got just a peek at life on a working ranch, there was always something going on but they were never too busy to answer a question or visit for a while. We were close to town for restaurants and fun but far enough out to enjoy the peace and beauty. Iā€™d stay here again!"

Easy drive to Mesa Verda National Park. Small downsides - sofa bed is a bit small for 2 adults (probably a size double), and the shower curtains were moldy & need to be washed or replaced. "
