"The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat. We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats....

Great property to explore the wonderful areas of the Dordogne

"The property was easy to locate even when arriving in the dark. The gite was very comfortable and equipped with all the mod cons you need to have an enjoyable stay. The pool was not in use as we stayed out of season but sure it will be of the same standard as the gite. The property Manager Mickael wss veu quick to redond to our conmunications. All in all a great place to stay, would definitely rrecommend.mimmcons "

Great as a base to explore the dordogne

"Farid and his wife were lovely and very attentive, the description is spot on. The pool is lovely and a large garden and black berries to pick with the kids. If you are tall though you will struggle as the bed is short with a foot board so you feet can’t overhang. Due to the agricultural location if you have the windows open there are a lot of flies. The biggest and only real let down is that the next door neighbours have dogs that bark incessantly and when you drive past they escape and really go for the car. It is quite intimidating! Unfortunately this is obviously out of the hosts control and why I would only recommend it as a base to explore unless you are of course deaf!"
