"The whole hotel was old and worn. Most negative was the mattress was completely worn out so sleeping was difficult. "

"Great location for access to downtown. The street is old-school residential style, within reasonable walking distance to the main attractions and many kinds of eateries. There is noise on the street, but that comes with the territory. The management was extremely nice and responsive, which made me feel even more at ease. If there is one not-so-nice thing I could say is that I should have paid better attention at the description of my room, but it was more my fault than theirs. At the end it didn't have a private bathroom like I thought I'd have, but a shared one instead - and it smelled like it had no ventilation whatsoever. I'd stay there again, just getting a better room."

"Excellent location, service and accommodations. The breakfast was nice. This was my second time staying at this property, and I enjoy their service and the continuity of staff. The hotel is an old Castle that has been modernized for the use of a hotel, and it is simply wonderful, which adds to the experience. They have onsite parking, and have an overflow lot at the top of the hill. Make sure and follow the parking directions given by the hotel, to use the right address, or be very observant and follow the signs, because blindly following GPS could have you on the very narrow streets at the top of the hill, which is not for the faint of heart. I had no complaints and highly recommend this hotel. Be well!"
