"The apartment looked clean on arrival but hadn't been cleaned in all the nooks and crannies. Saucepans were dirty, towels were small and seen better day's. Could only get channel 4, film 4 and BBC on the TV and that was intermittent, when it rained we could only get film 4.Only 1 chair for the beach, this was rectified but took over a week.Blinds in one bedroom were a bit dodgy and easily went up to far and you had to get your hand up inside to release it. Pool was closed for the whole 3 weeks...

"This house has everything you need and is in a lovely neighbourhood. Our days were spent down in Altea followed by a teatime game of tennis. Peter who is the local contact was so friendly and was there within 30 minutes when we ran out of hot water. He made us feel nothing was too much trouble and insisted we call him even at night ifwe had any problems. The tennis was a new venture to us and to have the keys to a court a few minutes from the house really brought our fitness levels on. The house...

"We are a large group of friends with our families that were looking for a villa to accommodate us all comfortably. Finca Bovalar was a fantastic venue for us. All the rooms were immaculate as were the gardens and facilities. The gentlemen named Amar who looked after us during our stay was superb. "This is a gem of a property. Traditional Spanish house with quirky decor. Exceptionally well equipped for a long or short stay. Very comfortable bed, good modern shower and a beautiful view of city, sea and castle from the sunny roof terrace. Great location close to transport links, fresh food market and restaurants. It is in quite an elevated position and the house has steep stairs but it’s all very manageable if you are reasonably mobile. We stayed a whole month and loved it. Excellent...

"Beautiful property in quiet residential area Property manager, Rudy, was very amenable and happy to advise on local facilities. There is a dog shelter up on the hill behind house that can generate a little noise first thing in the morning (assuming feeding time!) but nothing that should put you off staying in this beautiful and fantastically equipped home"

She was extremely helpful and assisted us with transfer from airport to the property, advice on places of interest, restaurants, take out and delivery options, supermarket locations and even offered to buy and deliver a birthday cake for my eldest granddaughter's birthday. "For the money the facilities are ideal, we had two bathrooms and two bedrooms plus plenty of space. Not the most luxurious but it didn’t cost the earth. If you want somewhere clean to stay, this is ideal a little bit out of the way but there are free transfers 50m down the road that run regularly."

"It was a delightful stay, apartment/room came complete with a fully equipped kitchen; refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, and more. It felt like a cozy home away from home.
