"We had a fabulous holiday at Mas de la Rivière. The house is spacious and well-equipped and the private and partially shady terrace with its beautiful trees and wisteria-covered outdoor dining space was a godsend on the hottest of days. "We were fortunate that, unusually, the property was available during the winter. Our extended family stayed 12 nights over the Christmas/New Year holidays. We received a warm welcome from Marie Claire and were pleased to find a decorated Christmas tree in the living room. We enjoyed the location, a short walk to the Mediterranean, and a 15-18 minute walk to Collioure. The grounds have parking for multiple vehicles, which is useful.A very memorable holiday!!"

This is listed as an English speaking host which is not accurate. We struggled to communicate. The place is advertised with a pool but this was out of bounds due to the drought, we understand this but we should have known before arrival. We had no hot water at all during our stay and we could not contact the host despite messaging and ringing the door...

"Das Haus ist klein, hat aber alles, was man braucht außer WLAN, das sollte ergänzt werden. Der Hof ist sehr schön zum erholen. Das Meer haben wir mit dem Auto in 12-14 min. erreicht, der Strand war toll und nicht überlaufen. Fernseher nur auf französisch, aber nicht so wichtig. Die Verwalterin wohnt nebenan und ist immer ansprechbar. Kann man weiter empfehlen, es war ein schöner Urlaub."
