"Back in 1970 this was probably a lovely hotel, unfortunately it’s not been touched since and is now very dated, worn and unkempt. The area outside is filthy and much of the local area is semi derelict. Soundproofing is non existent so you’d better hope for considerate neighbours. "

"Casa Holmes is in a lovely little village and is impeccably clean with a completely private fantastic large pool. Lots of thoughtful touches iwhich is in a little old authentic Spanish village house . Great aircon in all bedrooms! The only SLIGHT drawbacks are that the stairs are quite steep with the last two steps being higher than others - there is a baby gate but for tiny children maybe not totally suitable - there is a handrail however. "On arrival ther was nobody on site - no guests, no reception - had to ring number - no reservation. Man on reception checked and had received reservation and text us the way to let ourselves in. Other than that the place smelt of spices?? Due to being closed up. Room was spacious clean and comfortable. Fantastic view over countryside. Beautiful infinity pool We had a great 2 nights. On each accession only 1 other guest so more or less the place to ourselves. Didn't want to leave"
