"A good place to stay though a car is needed as it is near the top of a hill. The house was warm & well equipped. While we were there it was sometimes very windy. We may have just been unlucky. Communication with the caretaker was difficult. He spoke no English & our Spanish & German was limited. We enjoyed Peniscola, its beaches, coves & castle."

" Mari Carmen muy agradable y dispuesta. Casa amplia y muy limpia, a destacar colchones confortables y sartenes y cacerolas en muy buen estado. El resto del menaje un tanto descabalado, sin papel de cocina ni jabón ninguno. Mala cobertura de móvil por el incremento de población en verano y falta de wifi. Por las noches hay corriente y no hemos utilizado el aire acondicionado pese al calor."

"This holiday home is excellent for two couples with up to two children. The house is on four levels so not ideal for those struggling with stairs. It is very well equipped. The owners are very friendly and gave us a helpful walk around. The weather was mixed and the property was never too hot or cold. The property lies on a hill providing great views of the the old town of Peniscola, however this hill needs to be regularly negotiated if you are planning on eating out. I would definitely...

"Es un apartamento que esta distribuido en 4 plantas, una habitacion en la zona mas baja que huele mucho a humedad, en la planta principal cocina comedor, segunda planta otra habitacion y tercera planta la terraza. Con niños pequeños evidentemente no quieren dormir tan lejos de los padres....a esto añades que tienen unos aparatos que no echan nada de aire y hace calor agobiante. A parte los utensilios de cocina no estan nada limpios tuve que fregar todo antes de poder beber ni agua....no...

"Peniscola ist ein sehr schöner Urlaubsort. Die Burg und Altstadt, sowie auch die Atmonsphäre ist einmalig. Die Wohnung liegt auf einer Anhöhe. Zu Fuß ist der Strand innerhalb von 10 Minuten zu erreichen. In den Restaurants kann man sehr günstig essen. Wir waren davon sehr überrascht. Das Personal im Restaurand/Pool war sehr freundlich, sprach aber kein Deutsch. Check-in war super. Die Wohnung ist etwas renovierungsbedürftig. Fenster, Türen, Rolläden, Bad gehören sarniert. "Das Haus ist schön und super sauber und beinhaltet alles was man für einen Urlaub braucht. Lediglich die die Ankunft war etwas schwierig. Wir haben die Unterkunft erst gefunden, als die Vermieterin uns den Standort geschickt hat. Die Kommunikation war schwierig, weil sie kein Englisch konnte und wir kein Spanisch (Aber es gibt ja zum Glück Übersetzer). Ansonsten war es ein super toller Urlaub dort."

"A lovely house in a good location. The house is very well equipped with extremely comfortable rooms and lovely outside spaces where we were able to relax with some great sea views and enjoy al fresco meals. The house is located within a ten minute walk of the centre of Peniscola where you find the main restaurants, shops and a very good supermarket. It’s also a five minute walk to the nearest beach, although it is uphill on the way back from both! Peniscola was not too busy in early September...

"Iberflats was great! Location was perfect and much to get to in the area whether you wanted to dine out or eat in as the kitchen was good. Made pasta and burgers in house and went to Le Otto (best pizza in Spain) literally a few minutes walk away! Ease of entry into the apartment was great! Public parking close by and groceries a block away. Well worth it!"

"This hotel is amazing. We were there out of the tourist season which was perfect. The unit has a nice kitchen so that we could self cater. We tried to get to the buffet on the first day, but it was incredibly crowded, most likely with a tour group arriving at the same time. Instead we did some shopping at the spar shop in Benicarlo nearby. Dolores was especially helpful in showing us the way into the parking garage. "
