"The property was very clean and well maintained. The only negatives were that the first night we arrived, a Saturday , it was very noisy till about 2 am. The source of the noise was outside the area of this establishment but in the same building. The other was that there was almost no storage space in the unit. Hence the 4 rather than 5."

"What a find! Centrally located in a "local traffic only" part of Lisbon. Surrounded by the livelyness of the city, this is a peaceful oasis in the midst of it all. We stayed in one of the one bedroom appartments in high season for a very reasonable price. It was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed! The front desk attendant was friendly and helpful! Breakfast was included and excellent. The interior patio was lovely as well. If we make it back to Lisbon, I would rebook this in...

"The place was quaint and lovely. The breakfast was great. A wide assortment of cheese, meat, eggs made to order, and small bite size dishes. What puts this place over the top is the staff. Priscilla, Mario, and our personal favorite Alex, were all exceptional and helpful with recommendations. We would recommend to any traveler. "

"This place is fantastic. Infinitely better than a regular hotel. Well located and easily accessible it is near everything. The property is gorgeous The staff is very friendly and attentive. The room we had was huge, with a separate sitting area. The bathroom was recenty renovated and there was unlimited hot water. I cannot think of a downside."

"This building was more than a century old! Many of the furnitures in the room are antiques too! The room is fine, othen than the fact the there is no private bathroom - 3 rooms share one in each of the two floors. The bathroom is in disrepair and the walls had water leak marks. Someone may not accept this as condition for hostal, but for a 100 yrs old building, can't argue much. Location is prime. "The hotel was fantastic, great location, walking distance to a lot of restaurants and shops. The room was very spacious, the shower water pressure was very strong. The room was a little dimly lit, but that gave it a romantic feel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Their breakfast was amazing. We would return next time."
