"Lovely Village Hotel full of character and log fire's. The Bar has a good feel to it. The food was excellent and so was the breakfast. Will recommend to my friends and family. "

"Fantastic stay. Lovely room decor, food in restaurant was first class and the service from the staff was also superb. Enjoyed a wonderful evening with some whisky in the snug to finish with. Highly recommended."

"The lodge is set in a very scenic setting next to Lock Aboyne and woodlands which you can walk around. The property itself owned and run by a lovely couple who pretty much seem to do everything themselves. The decor is dated and old fashioned but if you like golf this is a great option as the course setting is fabulous …it’s a 9 hole set over a huge expanse with inclines and some difficult hazards.
