"We never got an email with the code for the key safe. Contacted VRBO and was on hold for ages. I was given the phone number for the owner who we phoned and he contacted us back after some time. He gave us the code and was apologetic but still waiting for up date from yourselves. We got into the property some 2 hours late which wasn't a good start to our break. Communication had been good to this part. Accommodation suited us and great location. Would use again for a group of lads"

It is a great location, though plan ahead and get your groceries in Fort William as the shop in Fort Augustus is pretty sparse. The unit was very clean and comfortable. "We were disgusted when we arrived. The kitchen floor was taped up and tiles were loose. My husband is disabled so this was so dangerous for him. Paint around winvdows had mould on them. Moved radiator cover and floor was filthy. No mirror in bathroom or toilet roll holder. Everything lacked any attention to detail or personality. Luckily holiday company was fantastic and was able to move us on quickly"
