"The guesthouse itself is a nice property. It is very conveniently located near transit, restaurants, shopping and a Lidl. The room is a good size I was travelling solo and found it to be just right. nothing special just a basic room. "Our stay was very comfortable. All amenities however no toaster. Close to main transport shops restaurants and tourist attractions. Bathroom towels were very substandard more suitable to rag usage. Prior to our stay communication was non existent sending emails and seven phone calls were unanswered On arrival were informed phone line number had changed. Website did not reflect this. Hotels.com were not updated either with new contact phone number Was hotel under new ownership?"

"The best thing about this hotel is its location, The room I have is very noisy, the bed was tidy and clean but not comfortable. I booked a room for £125 online but ended up paying £135 at the hotel as the owner has his own change rate. will never stay there again."

"Good service, helped us check in and guided on what to so. Platform bed was in bad condition with rails falling. Overall, just a night stay is ok. It had common kitchen, so not what I wanted. "Our stay started with the receptionist saying I needed to pay again even though the booking was prepaid. Eventually after contacting hotels.com this was resolved but he walked away from me and refused to deal with the issue until the morning. Additionally, the bathroom was infested with wasps and although there were others to use and it was eventually resolved, it wasn't ideal. The room felt comfortable and spacious but the plugs were a little temperamental and there was no air conditioning....

"Location was excellent. The room was OK, basic reasonably clean. The guy on reception (sorry didn't get your name) was lovely. Communal area of the building were run down, could say this added to the character of the building. Room cleaned daily towels changed on request. "The place is ok although it had a bit of a college dorm feel to it. The rooms lacked proper lighting, it reminded me of a dreary hotel in Russia. The bathrooms were renovated with great lighting.
