"My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. I would recommend it if you are traveling with a large group that wants to stay in separate rooms. Please keep in mind that most of the bedrooms are on the top floor and the stairs may be too steep for older people/young kids."

"Very nice house. Proximity to the JR Shin Koiwa station makes getting anywhere in Tokyo very easy. It’s about a ten minute walk. Host is excellent and communicates well. Very quiet neighborhood. If you can navigate the excellent Tokyo rail and subway system this is an excellent choice for your visit. I would not hesitate to book the Kanae House again. "

"Location was terrible, garbage collection and sewer collection across the road not to mention the runway and shakes the structure when they take off. Place had an odor of mold in it. When we arrived it was a cold rainy day and our room was just above freezing. Took 5 hours with the lack of insulation in the house to warm up enough to remove our coats. "New, clean, with a very accommodating and hospitable staff. Toddler tableware was already there when we checked in, and they brought us a high chair when we asked. Airport transfers available if you let them know ahead of time. "

"This was a great stay. It was easy to get a ride to and from Disney every day. The driver was fantastic, convenient to wash clothes, great shower and nice kitchen. Overall amazing stay."

"Our family of 7 enjoyed our one month stay at Mrs. Sakura's house in Narashino. We created many wonderful, lifelong memories during our time and had fun visiting nearby Chiba, Tokyo and Yokohama. "If you have a family of seven or have a large group, my advice is to go with a home. Even though this location is in between Narita Airport and Tokyo, the 15-minute or so walk from the home to the Fusa train station is doable. You just have to make sure with the train schedule that you are able to catch the last train back from Tokyo to Fusa at night. "The area is not for tourists. I like that. The mabager let us stay one extra hour plane delay. Thanks. The house itself was big spacious but just not clean. I am not picky but the house needs some work. Overall it worked for what we needed."

"Very clean. Very good value for the money. Spacious rooms for the Tokyo area. And the shuttle to the airport is very convenient. I fly out of Tokyo a lot so this is slowly but surely becoming my regular hotel stay"

"This hotel is fabulous! It was recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint! They have several restaurants plus a konbini! Our room was spacious, their breakfast buffet is huge, and the staff went above and beyond to help with anything we needed. There’s even a zen garden in the lobby! My only regret is we spent just one night here prior to our departure home. I highly recommend this hotel!"

"Very clean, very typical hotel vibe but perfect if you need easy access to the airport! The airport shuttle bus made my life a million times easier, especially never having been to Japan before. I was only in the area for two days before heading up to Hokkaido for the winter season, but being by the airport meant easy enough access to Tokyo. If you're looking for a longer stay in Tokyo I'd recommend staying closer to the city centre, but if it's a short stay and you aren't fussed by the hour or so train ride in then it's quite a nice place to be :)"

"The room is big and clean. All the people in the reception are nice, helpful and can understand English. Service is efficient. We have our luggage brought to this hotel fron Osaka earlier than our arrival and it is in our room already when we got there. They have a coin washer and dryer on the 3rd and 7th floor. They have a buffet breakfast with good selection for 1500 yen. It is close to the stations and to a lot of restaurants and bar. They also have a free shuttle to the airport which is the main reason we booked this hotel. We will definitely stay again here if we come back to Japan."
