"As quite a large family we book these kind of getaways regularly, i think the house would really benefit from having at least one twin room. The 5 bedrooms in the house all have double beds which is not so good if people dont necessarily want to share a bed with their siblings or parents. We also have a 8 month old and before we left i did try to find out the size of the cot so we could bring suitable bedding or a travel cot but the hosts knowledge of the cot wasn't very helpful so we just brought both. Not a massive deal but also the televisions in the property are either quite old or mounted too bigh my grandfather couldn't see the tv in the livingroom very well which also seemed to be knackered in my opinion with a heavy blue tint. Overall apart from pepole not getting a very good sleep the house was very nice and all other important things were thare."

"I was met by Kay in the Dining rolm which had a log fire burning. She was incredibly welcoming and made you feel relaxed. Nothing was too much yrouble and the room was first class. All other public rooms and kitchen were excellent. A very quiet and relaxing place to stay. Than you"

"This is a truly impressive house. The short title of the listing is absolutely correct; it is a stunning location. You are practically in your own forest with a Loch just a minute's walk. There are lots of walks around the house, and it is completely peaceful. There is an abundance of wildlife in the garden, including pheasants, Red Squirrels and hundreds of birds. We also saw the odd deer and a couple of sheep (although the owner encouraged the latter to return to their field!). The house is an ideal base for the highlands. Inverness is 20-minutes away, which gives you access to Loch Ness and the Black Isle. You also have easy access to Speyside and the Cairngorms. There is so much to see around here. The house has everything you can possibly need. It is immaculate inside and Jon was incredibly friendly, making sure everything was fine for us. We will return to this house. We had an amazing time. It is a place that would be ideal to relax, but similarly is a base to do lots of exploring and then relax in the evening, watching the clouds go by and the colours changing as the sun sets."
