The property outside looks nice. Though I arrived a few minutes early before check in was told room was not ready. Made to wait after check in time. The hotel room was small. No proper ac only heating. Was told hotels in this district only have heaters due to winter. The room had no window was very stuffy. Shuttle service is wonky. You have to check out extra early because shuttle is not guaranteed or available consistently. Only a few time slots and if you miss it there will be no other opportunity. A bit stressful for a family with little ones. Room is very dated and our shower had some mildew/ mold.

If the shuttle bus service could be booked in advance instead of operating on a first-come, first-served basis, it would be a fantastic improvement! We were worried about not getting a spot on the first shuttle bus, so we woke up early and checked out at 5:30 am to secure our seats. In the end, it turned out that only our family and one other were using the shuttle service.

MYSTAYS Omori appeared to be pleasant and clean upon arrival however, our room was very disappointing. Smelt bad, dirty bathroom, pillows like concrete; not close to the airport, as we were lead to believe.

Although we needed to change train at Shinagawa (Yamamoto line) and travel further for another 2 stops to reach Aomori, where the hotel is, it was totally worthwhile. The hotel surrounding is quiet and peaceful and family friendly, we rested very well away from the busy cities, yet not too far away. :)
