Loved the onsen at the top floor. Despite how expensive it is, the hotel/ryokan doesn't offer much complimentary service including late checkout. It was a nice experience but I would rather spend the money on other nearby hotels next time.

Modern and traditional hotel with great customer service. An excellent choice for families or for those just looking for some peace in Tokyo. unique luxury hotel in Tokyo
Hoshinoya Tokyo is a unique hotel, with tatami and wooden flooring throughout. The rooms have an elegant decor with a modern touch (TV hidden behind a mirror, multiple room dimming settings). The communal lounges on each floor, as well as the public bath on the top floor, along with cultural amenities (musical performances on the weekends) all make up a unique experience that you won't find at other hotels.
