"The property showed on Expedia is very misleading. I booked 2 rooms and paid over $300 per room and it should have been $50 a night. The lobby had no air conditioning. The carpet is old and had a weird smell. The rooms had paint coming off the walls. Everything was old and our bathroom had spiders. We checked in at 11:00pm and checked out the same night at 11:10pm. Very disappointed in this room that we booked for 2 nights and could not get a refund because they said, we had to go through...

"The hotel is part of the group and we are allowed to access the onsen in other hotels of the group. It is very fruitful to try all different onsen. All the hotels of the group are connected with pathway. One good point is that this hotels allow to choose yukata pattern. The staff is very nice and helpful. The stay is value for the money."

"The staff at check in was very friendly and efficient. Breakfast is very wholesome and delicious but decor is a bit dated. Room was Japanese style tatami, which I prefer, comfortable and clean. "

"do not stay here if you're western. its a traditional japanese hotel and totally alien. dreadful bedding / beds. smokey. just a waste of money. there's a much better and lower cost hotel right opposite. the building is tatty and generally sooooo disappointing."
