"Rancho Kuxtal feels like discovering an idyllic secret. It's so small and tucked away off the tourist route in Yucatan. Kasie and Victor are such welcoming hosts and we felt totally at ease. "Our room was right beside the restaurant so it was quite noisy till about 11pm. Felt a bit claustrophobic in the room. We will not stay there again. Food at the restaurant was pretty good and the staff was very pleasant and warm."

"Lovely hotel steps from the beach (there are no beach clubs in El Cuyo so this is as close as it gets!). Room was spacious and comfortable, with a balcony with a hammock and a roof terrace with amazing sunset views. Staff at the hotel were really helpful and the food is good, especially the paella nights. If you want to relax and explore then El Cuyo is a great place and this hotel is a great place to stay."
