"Our stay was lovely, relaxing and peaceful. The two rooms we booked were warm and spacious. The kids loved having access to the castle to walk around as well as the tennis courts. The owners were always happy to engage with our children and share their knowledge of the area."

"Was greeted by owner on arrival and led to my room, very hospital and partner too, who went out their way to personally call me and confirm location of accommodation so i did not get lost. Room was lovely and warm on arrival, bed was terrific ... a great nights sleep. Will definitely go back when in area again."

"The family rooms more like an apartment were excellent. Everything you needed in the room including dvds for the kids. The host was brilliant and locals in the bar were welcoming. The location and setting lovely. Would recommend to stopping here"

"Lovely property with bonus games room. Cosy bedrooms and fully equipped kitchen. A very enjoyable stay."

"Alder Cottage was a great place for our family holiday, there were eleven of us in total and we all had plenty of space. The bedrooms and seating were comfortable. It was great to have a large dining table to be able to all eat together. Victoria and Jake were great, checking we had everything we needed and getting a couple of extra dining chairs for us. The kids loved the games room and spent a lot of time in there playing as there was plenty to keep them entertained. It was a very peaceful...
