"The front desk lady that checked us in was very nice. Limited parking out front, but it’s free and we got a spot. Rooms are nice, though a little dated. Slow internet, but you’re in the heart of the Black Forrest so it is what it is. Overall great location and friendly staff. I would absolutely recommend staying here. Easy short drive to the buses for the Christmas market too!"

"Overall overpriced for what you get. Beautiful area but 40 minute drive to Triberg and at least 10 to Titisee-Neustadt. The hotel is charming and traditionally decorated and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Would have eaten dinner there but there were a crazy amount of flies in the restaurant. Most importantly this hotel does NOT have mini golf, fishing or a golf range on site even though these are listed as amenities. Also not sure that they should...

"Our experience in the Black Forest was fantastic! The room has all new appliances and kitchenware and it is completely pet friendly, I wish I had taken my cat with me! It would be 100% possible with an all wooden furniture. We were in the last room of the hall so the internet was very limited, but still it forced us to disconnect and it was extremely relaxing after all. The staff was super friendly and responsive, we got all the info and help we needed all the time. I will go back with my cat...
