"The cottages are on the side of a mountain overlooking Thames Bay. Beautiful! There were chairs outside on the deck for viewing and our cottage had a full wall window to view from inside, The property had wonderful foliage and the hosts are lovely, The cottage was very clean. The bathroom and room we had were small, (there's different sizes), but the view made up for it. In the mini fridg there was chocolate liqueur and a couple cookies. (nice touch) We absolutely loved it!"

"Had a great stay in a house that had everything we needed. Very cute cottage and loved the lush backyard and kids especially loved the spa pool. Had a great time exploring the old mines before heading up north. Lovely host as well! "

"We loved our stay here. The location is quiet and private with lovely views of the green valleys and hills. Leona was an excellent host, even arranging the return of a charger we left there. Just a quick drive to Waihi Beach. Highly recommended. "

"Very nice setting and I was made to feel very comfortable and will look forward to staying again and I recommend to anyone that has respect for Niki. Accomodation was very clean and tidy and in the most lovely quiet setting. Niki made it very clear with directions and rules but she was so lovely to let me k ow if I needed anything she would be willing to help out. "This is easily the nicest bookabach we've ever stayed in. The kitchen is incredible - top tier appliances built into the cabinetry and a massive kitchen island. Overall just a beautifully and thoughtfully appointed house. We loved chilling on the super sheltered veranda - very pleasant even on windy days. Thanks Janet for a wonderful stay!"

"Great little cottage to stay in, secure off-street parking. Dermott, the host was amazing. I had to get him out of bed very early on Sunday with a flat battery. He gave us a jump; nothing was a problem. Would stay again any time."

"Idyllic outlook and generous hosts, we had a lovely stay. Thank you for all the extra touches that made it feel special. The eggs were delicious! Clean, tidy and pretty place with everything you need and more. Great location close to gorge walks and less than 20mins to waihi beach. "

"We were woken at 4am with car alarm going off. Thank god they didnt take our car. They tried. Should have security lights at front. Also state stairs as i am 79 had a hard time going up steps."

"The staff were super friendly, the room was spacious and had everything we needed, and the setting was lovely. The price we paid through the Expedia app was more than we would normally pay for a property of this level. This place is fabulous if you get a good deal, and we would stay again if we were travelling to Thames."
