"It is a bit of a mixed bag review - the staff and catering were good but the accommodation is not as shown on the web site - the room was small and the bathroom smaller yet. a cupboard in reality. the carpet leading to the bedrooms needed a good clean or replacement which made the whole place look scruffy and dated yet the bar and restaurant quite cosy."

"Quite a self-contained stay. I received instructions as to how to get to my room which was in the adjoining building to the pub. It was a lovely deluxe room with plenty of space allowing me to get some admin work done beflore relaxing. They had a fridge with plenty of items to choose from for the continental breakfast. "This was an overnight stay while working locally and this place was chosen for its location and the fact that it’s a pub as well. The room was nice but could do with some TLC but I was very comfortable. The bar area was a little cold but I soon warmed up with the lovely food that was on offer and the staff were really friendly and helpful which is why I would recommend this place to others thinking of staying here."
