"Lotus boutique Hotel centrally located in the Old Quarter of Hanoi close to all amenities. Staff were respectful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. I was an older solo traveler and felt safe in this hotel at all times. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"This is a cute little hotel but tucked away so difficult to find down a back street that's also the (raw) chicken market. Once inside, staff lovely. Room small and shower old. 'City view' room was closed shutters with market below so very noisy with shouting as things opened in the morning. Wotif shows no lifts at the property, which was a concern, but there are two. There are about 8 steps up to the property though and you need to navigate your luggage from the nearest street so do a Google...

"The thing I loved most about Solaria was the staff. They are incredibly hospitable, very friendly and go the extra mile for guests. This is a beautiful hotel right downtown Hanoi walking distance from everything you could need. The roof top bar provides a beautiful sunset view and the cocktails we had were the best we drank in Hanoi (and we drank a lot at various places!)"

"The breakfast is good in this hotel and this hotel is nearby to all the food places and is walkable distance to the Train Street and water puppets show. The rooftop bar is under construction atm so expected to have some building work noise. Overall this is a good hotel to stay in."
