"When we arrived at the lodge we were supposed to be staying in there was another family there who said the lodge they were supposed to be staying in was occupied so they were given this lodge. We rang the contact number and he apologised, we were provided the key code for another lodge and when i opened the door that was occupied as there was a dog in there. "Our check in time was 3pm and although the booking was accepted and property details provided, we were not send the code to access the key box. We messaged the host for the final access details as we were arriving and got no response. We called VRBO who provded details to contact the host directly and also no response. We then recieved a message at 3:45pm (after the 3pm check in time) cancelling the booking due to a 'water leak'. Why the host was checking for water leaks after the time we were...

"We received no communication from the owner of how to access the property. We were standing outside and had to contact VRBO support. The house is in an awful area, the garden hasn't been mown in years and there is trash around the property. We were only provided with two towels for a family and they said that was all we needed. I will never use VRBO again as they don't care about their customers experience."

"Really enjoyed our stay here. This is a little 3 bed terraced house on a main road, there is a large green across the road and a co-op about 1 minutes walk away. It has a cosy little living room with smart TV and a kitchen with a dishwasher and there’s a little garden. There’s a downstairs toilet and upstairs shower room and parking is on the drive outside.
