"The hotel is in a remote location which made for a quiet night. There was a restaurant in the hotel but I didn’t know that so we ate in the nearby town. There was lots of free parking. I was surprised to find my room did not have a bathroom, only a sink and that the bathroom was shared. I have not shared a bathroom like that before and thought it was awkward. I figured it was probably my own mistake and as we were leaving first thing in the am, I didn’t say anything about it. The room was small...

"An excellent Villa, very clean and well looked after. The swimming pool was great, it has a deep part in the middle and is very shallow at one end which would suit paddling toddlers. We are a family of 7 and had loads of space in the Villa. The top floor bedroom can get very hot which wasn't a problem for us as only one of my children was sleeping in there. Bedroom walls are very thin however and you can hear every sound from the lounge - you wouldn't be able to watch tv in the evening with younger kids asleep upstairs. The hotel is next to St Michael's church, and yes the bells do ring 24hrs a day, but we actually quite liked it after a day or so. Earplugs seemed to be fine at night if it bothered you. Good cafe and restaurant options right outside the hotel. We particularly liked one of the restaurants down by the lake.Fantastic walks up on the hillside above the lake.
